Our Story
Wabi Sabi Wheels was born from a simple realization: the most meaningful cars aren't the pristine showpieces, but the ones that have lived, served, and earned their character through years of faithful service.
Founded in 2020, our company emerged from decades of experience in the Japanese automotive industry. Our founders, with deep roots in both Japanese culture and automotive engineering, recognized that Western collectors were missing out on the authentic JDM experience.
We saw beautiful machines being overlooked because they didn‘t meet arbitrary standards of “perfection.” Cars with incredible histories, proven reliability, and unique character were being dismissed for superficial reasons.
This had to change. We set out to build a bridge between Japan‘s incredible automotive heritage and discerning collectors worldwide who understand that true value lies beneath the surface.
